NPR has interviews with two celebrities on their children’s books to share — one you already knew about and one you might not have.

The latter comes from Kevin Hart and is aimed at slightly older readers.

Hart’s Marcus Makes a Movie, for readers ages eight to twelve, came out June 1.

The actor, comedian, and producer, explained to All Things Considered’s Michel Martin that he’s at a point in his life where he feels the need to give back.

And for him, that took the form of writing an inspirational book that encourages kids to pursue lofty goals — and to seek help from others at the same time.

You can listen to Hart talk about Marcus Makes a Movie or read a transcript of his interview on NPR’s website.

Also on NPR: Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, talking about the book you’d already heard of.

The Bench, which came out June 8, puts pictures to a poem that Markle wrote for her husband, the former Prince Harry, as a Father’s Day gift.

Markle and her illustrator, Christian Robinson, spoke with Weekend Edition’s Samantha Balaban before Markle gave birth to her second child about the creative process.

You can see pictures from The Bench, listen to the conversation, and read an article based on it at NPR’s website.
