When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from royal duties, some wondered — earnestly and facetiously — what they’d do to fill their time.
So far, 2021 has shown us that they’re both taking advantage of the opportunity to flex their literary muscles.
Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has written a children’s book — her first — that will be released June 8, reports the Associated Press.
The Bench celebrates the poignant moments of fatherhood and was inspired by a poem Meghan wrote for Harry, Duke of Sussex, on his first Father’s Day as a parent.
Meghan will narrate the audio version, and award-winning illustrator Christian Robinson has created the artwork.
Earlier this year, Harry wrote the foreword to a book about a child who loses their mother to COVID-19, called Hospital by the Hill.
