We’ve noticed a few commonalities among bookworms, as we’ve built our Facebook community.

Most of us love pets — slight edge to cats, it seems, but dogs rule, too.

We enjoy a nice warm beverage — tea, then coffee, plus some votes for hot chocolate, too.

And when we’re not reading, we’re probably crafting — sewing or knitting, for example.

Author Allie Pleiter definitely fits that characterization, and she even has an additional observation about bookworm tendencies.

Specifically, those who prefer cozy mysteries are even more likely to be knitters.

Pleiter explains why she thinks knitting and cozy mysteries go together like peanut butter and jelly in a post at CrimeReads.

Thanks for the nod to my post--it has been fun to watch so many people agree that knitters make great mystery solvers!
