Mark the new workweek with new (well, new to Dictionary.com) words.

In addition to its springtime update, Dictionary.com has added more than 300 new words and updated definitions, reports CNN.

Of course, many of these changes relate to the COVID-19 pandemic and increased awareness of racial sensitivities and injustices. 

But some are much more lighthearted, including the formal addition of “oof," one of our most commonly texted words.

CNN has highlights of the additions, while Dictionary.com has a more comprehensive look at its changes and what inspired them.
