The trailer for The Last Duel, based on the book by Eric Jager, is out for your viewing pleasure.
Matt Damon stars as Jean de Carrouges, the 14th-century French knight whose wife publicly accuses his squire, Jacques Le Gris (played by Adam Driver) of raping her.
To resolve the case, the two men are ordered to fight to the death; if de Carrouges loses, it will be seen as proof that his wife lied … and she will be burned at the stake.
Ben Affleck also stars in the movie, which is directed by Ridley Scott.
