The Alliance of Independent Authors has two updates from Amazon in its weekly business roundup that may be of note to you.

First up is that Kindle Direct Publishing is now offering the option to print hardback copies of books.

The other is that Audible Plus — a subscription that offers unlimited access to a particular catalogue of audio material – is now available in Australia.

The service was previously just available in the US, the UK, Italy and Spain.

ALLi has more coverage of (plus commentary on) these updates and other self-publishing news in its blog post.
