Two book publishers have filed a class action lawsuit against Audible.

Law Street Media reports that Plaintiffs Golden Unicorn Enterprises Inc. and Big Dog Books LLC are suing Amazon’s audiobook arm over its royalty payments.

This goes back to last year’s AudibleGate, in which authors learned that Amazon was reporting net sales and not gross sales — thus lowering their royalty payments.

“Authors who have attempted rough calculations now believe that most of them received between 50% and 85% of the royalty payments they would have received if not for Audible’s calculated concealment,” the plaintiffs state in the filing, according to Law Street Media.

The suit was filed August 20 in New York's Southern District Court.
