Madeleine Albright, who died Wednesday at age eighty-four, is widely remembered as the US's first female secretary of state.

But she also served as a professor for four decades — and wrote several books.

NPR celebrates her literary legacy by highlighting Albright's seven books (a mix of nonfiction and memoir) and linking to interviews it did with her.
