Yesterday would have been Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s eighty-eighth birthday, had she not passed away last fall.

But today is her day, one last time.

Justice Justice Thou Shalt Pursue, which came out today, collects writings from throughout the late Supreme Court justice's life — early-career arguments and historic rulings alike — with the help of her former clerk Amanda Tyler.

Tyler describes the pride she still feels at having been able to work with Ginsburg, among other memories, in an interview with Morning Edition’s Steve Inskeep.

You can read highlights from their conversation on NPR’s website or listen to it in full below.
