A Bridgerton book will be based on a show, this time around

If you loved Bridgerton — the books, the TV show, or both — then you'll be glad to hear more content is coming your way.

Deadline reports that author Julia Quinn and show creator Shonda Rimes are collaborating on a prequel novel to Quinn's smash hit Regency romance series.

That novel will be based on a spinoff of Bridgerton, focusing on Queen Charlotte's marriage to King George III.

According to Deadline, the releases of the book and show will coincide.
