Belated congratulations to author Mohsin Hamid on his latest release!

The Last White Man, which came out yesterday, is the story of Anders, a man who wakes up to find his skin has turned dark overnight.

He must navigate both his own emotions and those of others, in this strange new reality — and soon, he learns he's not the only one in this position.

Hamid is the author of Booker Prize finalists Exit West and The Reluctant Fundamentalist, and his newest work was on a number of publications' lists of the best books of the summer.

So is it worth the hype? Read Literary Hub's excerpt of The Last White Man and begin your judging process.
