The longlist for the National Book Award for Fiction came out today.
Out of 415 submissions, these ten remain under consideration; three of them are also debut novels.
Finalists for all categories — the other four being poetry, young people's literature, translated literature, and nonfiction — will be announced October 4, and the winners will be revealed November 16.
