Take a peek at the upcoming "Kindred" TV adaptation

In a little over a month, a series adaptation of Octavia E. Butler's Kindred will premiere on Hulu.

And Vanity Fair has an exclusive first look at that first season, launching December 13.

You can see a few still images from the show there, but more interesting are the comments from showrunner, executive producer, and writer Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and actress Mallori Johnson (who plays Dana) about their dedication to the project.
