Missing Christmas now that it's wrapped up (no pun intended)?

The Guardian recently had a free short story set against the backdrop of a Christmas party. (Though, if you're burned out on the holiday, rest assured that it merely serves as a way to bring characters together.)

You can read "Juana the Mad" by Tessa Hadley, the award-winning author of Clever Girl, Late in the Day, and Free Love, on the newspaper's website.
