Overwhelmed by all the talk about artificial intelligence and its entrance into the various parts of the publishing world?

You're not alone. Kristine Kathryn Rusch admits to being far behind the likes of Joanna Penn and still working to wrap her head around all of the advancements.

But, in her year-in-review post discussing AI, she makes clear that her mind is open to learning more about how to use it.

For instance, Rusch used to think she was an audio snob, someone who wanted audio performances to be works of art.

Now, she's realizing, through her own consumption of audio material, that she values the ability to access it — especially as artificial voice technology improves.

Rusch still encourages authors to follow Penn's ongoing posts about AI narrators, but check out her year-in-review post on artificial intelligence for a big-picture overview of how AI has so far intersected with publishing.
