Penny Sansevieri shares several reasons that she appreciates Goodreads as a branding tool for authors.

The two we suspect will resonate most strongly with authors: that unlike most other social media platforms, it's fairly low-maintenance ... and that Goodreads rankings and reviews are finding their way into Amazon listings.

(It makes sense, since Amazon owns Goodreads.)
