Then It Fell Apart has proved to be a fitting title for Moby’s memoir.
Actress Natalie Portman has publicly disputed his claim that they dated in the late 1990s and criticized the musician and his publisher for not attempting to verify the fact.
Moby has apologized twice on Instagram, reports the Bookseller: first to acknowledge it was “truly inconsiderate” of him not to tell Portman she would be in the book, then yesterday to say he was “going to go away for a while.”
He has also canceled his UK and Ireland book tour; Faber, his publisher, has declined to comment on any of these developments.
