If you haven’t read Circe by Madeline Miller yet, better stop procrastinating.
HBO Max, a streaming service set to launch next year, has won the rights to produce a series based off the international bestselling novel — and you know that either means spoilers or a long waitlist at the library.
Deadline reports that Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (known for Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Jurassic World) will write and executive-produce the eight-episode series.
Circe is a retelling of the eponymous goddess’s story, going back long before she bumped into Odysseus.
