A woman who gained unwanted fame as the victim of a high-profile sexual assault has revealed her name publicly as well as the title of her memoir.

Chanel Miller, formerly known as Emily Doe, was attacked by Stanford University swimmer Brock Turner, whose light sentence was cause for outrage in 2015.

Miller began writing Know My Name in 2017 and has since expanded it beyond her assault and the trial to the #MeToo movement and the larger picture of sexual assault.

Know My Name will come out on September 24, a few days after an interview with Miller on 60 Minutes airs.
