In a way, it’s not surprising that a songwriter might also enjoy writing fiction — and even excel at it.
But The Who’s Pete Townshend points out a few key differences in the two art forms (besides the length) of course in a recent interview with NPR.
The rock star is speaking from experience; he recently published his debut novel, The Age of Anxiety, and will also release an album called WHO with his band on December 6.
