If you’re out and about, don’t look down at your phone — keep your eyes peeled for copies of Little Women.
Emma Watson, who plays Meg in the upcoming film adaptation, spent this past Sunday stashing copies of Louisa May Alcott's beloved classic novel near effigies and status of women around London, reports the Bookseller.
It's part of The Book Fairies' effort to distribute 2,000 copies of the novel across thirty-eight countries.
The books have a sticker on the cover that say “Take this book, read it & leave it for the next person to enjoy” and the London copies include handwritten notes from Watson.
Books were hidden in other UK cities as well as in New York, California, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong, and South Africa, with more to come.
