Watch the trailer for the TV adaptation of "Normal People" by Sally Rooney

Speaking of those literary adaptations coming in 2020 — the trailer for Sally Rooney’s Normal People has been released.

The Bookseller shared the preview of the adaptation, set to hit Hulu and the BBC this spring as a twelve-part series.

Daisy Edgar Jones and Paul Mescal play the on-again, off-again lovers Marianne and Connell, respectively.

Normal People won the top prize at the 2019 British Book Awards and the Costa Book Award for best novel; it also landed on the Booker Prize longlist, the New York Times bestseller list, and quite a few best-of-2019 lists.
