Dickinson may have premiered today, but we still have plenty of literary adaptations to look forward to (or dread).

Coming very soon: His Dark Materials, based on the Philip Pullman trilogy, hits HBO on Sunday night.

NPR interviewed show producer Jane Tranter, also responsible for the reboot of Doctor Who, among other credits, about the process of adapting a beloved series in the leadup to its launch.

Further out is the Hulu/BBC adaptation of Sally Rooney’s novel Normal People.

Vanity Fair has exclusive preview photos from the set to whet your appetite for the show’s premiere next year.
