Those looking forward to former national security adviser John Bolton’s memoir will have to wait a bit longer.

Its publisher, Simon & Schuster, announced yesterday that the release of The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir has been pushed back to May 12.

The previously planned release date, March 17, won’t happen because “the government review of the work is ongoing,” according to Simon & Schuster.

Leaks from the copy provided for such a review by the National Security Council made headlines earlier this year, with sources reporting that the book describes conversations in which Donald Trump told Bolton that he wanted to withhold aid from Ukraine until it helped him investigate political rival Joe Biden.
