Love to give your opinion on books? You’re in luck!

NPR has kicked off its summer reading poll, with the theme of children’s books.

You can nominate five books (with a series counting as a single entry).

Picture books and chapter books are encouraged, but if you loved something that wasn’t exactly a typical children’s book — Petra Mayer provides her own example — you’re welcome to suggest it too.

Head to NPR’s website to see Mayer’s favorite tome as a six-year-old and to fill in your suggestions.
