Roxanne Conrad, who wrote as Rachel Caine, has died

Author Roxanne Conrad, who wrote as Rachel Caine, Roxanne Longstreet, and Julie Fortune, has died.

Tor reports that Conrad’s family made the announcement to fans on November 1.

Of her nearly sixty novels, some of the best-known were the urban fantasy series that began with Weather Warden and the YA urban fantasy series that began with The Morganville Vampires.
