We’re squeaking in one last word-of-the-year post while it’s still technically the first month of the new year.

The Columbia Journalism Review’s Language Corner feature took a broad look at the word-of-the-year honors for 2020 — not just from dictionaries (though it shared their methodologies and results) but also from popular votes and private groups.
