Filmmaker Barry Jenkins had shared the “preamble” to his adaptation of Colson Whitehead’s The Underground Railroad last fall.

And now he has another gift for those excited to see the award-winning and bestselling novel hit the screen.

The new trailer is titled “In Aeternum,” and you can watch it below or at Vimeo.

Literary Hub reports that there’s still no firm release date set for the TV series, which it describes as one of the most anticipated adaptations in recent memory.

The Underground Railroad won both the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award; it tells the story of Cora, who escapes life as a slave on a Georgia plantation via an actual underground railroad.
