The Queen’s Gambit, which became a smash hit TV series for Netflix, could also be turned into a musical, according to the New York Times.

The newspaper reports that a production company co-founded by a great-niece of Walt Disney has acquired the rights to bring The Queen’s Gambit to Broadway.

There aren’t many details on the deal to share right now, but you can still learn a bit more about the production company and the history of chess musicals in the NY Times.
