It’s been close to a year since most of us had to increase how much we were cooking at home, so you might’ve run out of themes to try in the kitchen.
If so, here’s a solution: bid on a self-published cookbook by Andy Warhol!
(Actually, if you can afford the signed copy, which is expected to fetch $30,000 to $50,000 at auction, you can afford a lot of carryout instead.)
The Guardian reports that Warhol and his friend Suzie Frankfurt came up with the idea of Wild Raspberries as a parody of extravagant recipes.
Examples of the dishes: Omlet Greta Garbo, Gefilte of Fighting Fish, and Seared Roebuck.
Bonhams is handling the online auction, which runs from March 22-30.
Take a peek inside Wild Raspberries in the Guardian.
