Sources: George R.R. Martin signs a lucrative deal with HBO

The more things change, the more things stay the same.

Specifically, The Hollywood Reporter shares the news that George R.R. Martin is hard at work on something that isn’t The Winds of Winter.

Martin, according to THR, signed a five-year, eight-figure deal to develop more programming for HBO and HBO Max.

That’s in addition to the numerous Song of Ice and Fire-related projects he’s already immersed in at the network.
