J.K. Rowling will publish a Christmas story this fall

J.K. Rowling will release a new holiday story not set in the Potterverse this fall.

The Christmas Pig, a standalone tale for readers age eight and up, comes out October 12, reports Publishers Weekly.

Its title character is a new toy that comes to life to help a young boy recover a beloved toy he’d lost.
