The covers for Sally Rooney’s next novel have been revealed.
The Bookseller notes that different points of sale will offer different versions of Beautiful World, Where Are You.
Indie bookstores will have a primarily yellow cover, while copies sold at Waterstones and Easons will have blue covers with other special features.
Meanwhile, Rooney’s US publisher still has a placeholder cover, though Amazon and Bookshop.org all feature the blue cover; Barnes & Noble has an exclusive version with the placeholder, but its other versions have the blue cover.
Beautiful World, Where Are You comes out September 7; you can refresh your memory on its plot and hear from the cover designer directly in Entertainment Weekly.
Also recently unveiled: the cover of the Louise Penny-Hillary Rodham Clinton collaboration, State of Terror.
The political thriller comes out October 12.
