Dakota Johnson will star in a modern version of "Persuasion"

Actress Dakota Johnson will headline the movie adaptation of another well-known novel … but one you can talk about at work.

Deadline reports that Johnson — who came to fame as Fifty Shades of Grey’s Anastasia Steele — will play Anne Elliot in a new Netflix version of Persuasion.

The movie modernizes Jane Austen’s 1816 novel.

Deadline has plenty of information about the production team for Persuasion, though no casting for Frederick Wentworth yet.
