Since longtime Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek passed away in November, the show has turned to celebrity guests to keep the clues coming.
One of the latest selections is, in fact, another beloved show host: LeVar Burton, of Reading Rainbow and Star Trek: The Next Generation fame.
Burton will be providing the answers during the last week of July, Jeopardy!'s executive producer revealed Wednesday.
Burton himself thanked fans on Twitter for their successful lobbying to land him the spot.
According to the New York Times, which shared news of Burton’s guest gig, fans are also pushing for him to land the job permanently; a Change.org petition to that effect had more than 246,000 signatures Wednesday.
