Cathy Park Hong’s autobiographical essay collection is keeping its place in the spotlight this spring.

Minor Feelings: An Asian American Reckoning won a National Book Critics Circle Award in March, and now, according to Deadline, it’s being adapted into a television series.

Actress Greta Lee will star in, write, and executive produce the series.

The book, which was a New York Times bestseller, uses the vague sense of shame that Hong — daughter of Korean immigrants — felt about her racial identity to explore racial consciousness in America as a whole.
