You may perhaps be re-reading The Tale of Peter Rabbit to celebrate the occasion.

Back in 2012, a recipe book owned by Potter went up for sale, but don’t worry — the blog of the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America jotted one down for all of those who couldn’t afford the book.
Potter’s gingerbread recipe, along with notes from a modern chef, are up at the ABAA blog.
