Does travel still seem like a bit of a pipe dream to you?
Never fear — the internet is here.
Over the summer, the English town of Bath welcomed its newest (and creepiest) visitor attraction: Mary Shelley's House of Frankenstein.
And to celebrate, the Bath Magazine created a short video that gives you a sneak peek into the spookiness (embedded below and also available on YouTube).
It’s described as an immersive experience, rather than a traditional museum, though it does contain vintage items and artifacts.
Bath has long been known more for its Jane Austen ties, but Shelley wrote most of her famous novel in the city; for a more scholarly discussion of that connection, check out the Guardian's article about the opening of the House of Frankenstein.
