Alicia Keys is somewhat taking a page from fellow singer Dolly Parton’s book.
Instead of releasing an album to accompany a novel, as Parton’s doing, though, Keys is writing a book inspired by a song she released years ago, reports Literary Hub.
Girl on Fire, based on her 2012 hit tune, is a young-adult graphic novel about a teen with kinetic powers.
Co-written by Andrew Weiner and illustrated by Brittney Williams, it comes out March 1.
Keys has previously written Tears for Water: Poetry & Lyrics and the memoir More Myself: A Journey.
