More of Don DeLillo’s work has been optioned for the screen.

Netflix, which is already adapting White Noise, struck an eight-figure deal to feature the movie version of Underworld, according to Deadline.

Uri Singer, who’s also working on the White Noise adaptation, will produce Underworld along with The Starling’s Ted Melfi.

Underworld opens with the New York Giants’ Bobby Thomson hitting the “shot heard ’round the world” to win the World Series and follows one man’s efforts to trace that particular baseball.

It was a bestseller that also received a National Book Award nomination and appeared on the Pulitzer Prize shortlist.
