Literary Hub recently shared an excerpt of Nadifa Mohamed's novel The Fortune Men, a Booker Prize finalist that’s still in the running for a Costa Award.

The Fortune Men tells the actual story of a Somali sailor arrested for and convicted of a crime he didn't commit in Cardiff, Wales, in 1952.
