Who better than poet Amanda Gorman to share an uplifting message for 2022?
Gorman unveiled a new poem, “New Day's Lyric,” on Instagram yesterday.
You can watch her recite it or simply read the text in the post.
Gorman added, in a separate post, that she’s raising money for the International Rescue Committee, a charity that responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises.
Quoting her new poem, the youngest-ever inaugural poet called upon her followers: “Come, look up with kindness yet, for wherever we come together, we will forever overcome.”
