Okay, yes, we're a book website, but as you're well aware, the literary world often intersects with that of the screen.

Literary Hub has frequently mentioned the movie Drive My Car, based on a Haruki Murakami short story, and its latest update is that Drive My Car is now streaming.

So find a friend with HBOMax, if you don't subscribe, and enjoy an Oscar-nominated (and other-award-winning) movie at your convenience.

The other bookish film isn't an adaptation, actually, but its trailer certainly caught our eye at the theaters last weekend.

The Lost City stars Sandra Bullock as a romance novelist who finds herself in a bit of a jam in the jungle, with an unlikely would-be savior.

Apologies for being vague — we just really want you to watch the trailer and laugh along with it, like we did.

The Lost City premieres March 23.
