The TV show Abbott Elementary has done more than just entertain viewers.
It's now helping benefit underfunded elementary schools.
ABC (which airs the show) and Scholastic are partnering to bring free book fairs to seven Title 1 schools next week, reports Variety, which has a list of those schools.
The network is also relaunching its Traveling Teacher’s Lounge initiative, which sent donations including Scholastic books to teachers along the East Coast earlier this year.
Southwestern cities are on this next round of stops.
