James Patterson has made yet another big donation to a reading-related cause.

Earlier this week, Scholastic Book Clubs announced that the bestselling author donated $1.5 million toward a literacy initiative.

The program, dubbed The United States of Readers, will connect 32,000 K-8 students from low-income families with reading material.

The Associated Press noted, in reporting this latest donation, that Patterson has already donated over $10 million to teachers and students through Scholastic.
