The hottest new trend in romance? A shared love of literature

Even if you don’t read romance, it can be interesting to note what the current trend in love stories is at any given time.

And right now, according to bestselling author Emily Henry (People We Meet On Vacation), the hottest theme in romance is a shared love of books.

It's of course not a brand-new trope, but it's seeing some new life, including in Henry's own work, and she shares her theories on why bookworm love is tops in romance right now in a post for Writer's Digest.
