NPR recently interviewed two members of past presidents' Cabinets about their May 10 book releases.

On the Democratic side, we have Barack Obama's attorney general, Eric Holder.

Holder went on Fresh Air to talk about Our Unfinished March: The Violent Past and Imperiled Future of the Vote-A History, a Crisis, a Plan.

And on the Republican side, we have Donald Trump's secretary of defense, Mark Esper.

Esper went on All Things Considered to discuss his memoir, A Sacred Oath: Memoirs of a Secretary of Defense During Extraordinary Times.
