In the US, June is Pride Month — a time to especially focus on celebrating LGBTQ+ people past and present and to continue to focus on their equality.

So, like any other themed month, there are reading recommendation lists to be found.

NPR shared eight books to read in honor of Pride Month, in a variety of genres.

Goodreads goes further, with seventy-plus new or upcoming books either by an LGBTQ+ author or about LGBTQ+ characters.

And we'd be remiss if we didn't highlight the gay/lesbian section of our bargain-book library, too.
