Ukraine's largest book festival is still taking place in person (and virtually) this year, despite Russia's invasion of the country, and it will feature some prominent names from across the globe.
The Guardian reports that Abdulrazak Gurnah, Margaret Atwood, Neil Gaiman, and Elif Shafak are among those joining the Lviv BookForum, which Gaiman described as “a brave act of resistance."
Britain's Hay Festival is partnering with its Ukrainian counterpart to stream events worldwide, for free, from October 6-9.
You can read more about this year's Lviv BookForum in the Guardian.
