Tom Hanks is ready to try his hand at yet another art form: the novel.
The Guardian reports that the Oscar-winning actor, who previously released a short-story collection, will publish his first novel next year.
The Making of Another Motion Picture Masterpiece is described by its publisher as "wildly ambitious."
It takes place over eighty years and, perhaps unsurprisingly, describes the process of making a film, with a number of colorful characters.
The Making of Another Motion Picture Masterpiece comes out in the US and UK on May 9, 2023.
